My Students

My students are mostly low income and our school is one of the most culturally diverse in the city of Philadelphia. We are a melting pot of different languages, religions etc...

What makes my students special is that most of them are going to be the first generation in their families to attend college.

Their parents are working two jobs in some cases to make a better life for their kids. My students represent not only their dreams but the dreams of their parents.

My Project

I am hoping that I will be able to use the study guide to help focus my students attention on the concepts covered in the AP biology exam. Strive for a 5 is the gold standard in review materials and at our school is out of reach due to the cost. It will be one more tool in my arsenal to help my students achieve college eligible scores on AP biology exam and earn college credit in high school. It depth of knowledge covered in the AP biology exam is awesome and so all teachers are always looking for ways to streamline the information.
