Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The string orchestra is made up of students who take the class to de-stress from other classes. They like to play and most will remain in the class for all four years of their high school life. In our advanced String orchestra we will have incoming freshmen who are beginners and should continue to learn their instruments. They may have finished the first book and will continue with book two. So that the class does not get stuck in case they finish book 2, I would like to offer them book 3.

The new books will help this group of beginners advance even further and will help the ones already a bit more advanced, get some much needed review.

Things are looking up for this program and in time it should grow in skill level and numbers.
