This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Oftentimes in school orchestras, students can feel unskilled or untalented due to the lack off quality resources provided to them. Many music supply retailers for school orchestras sell very inexpensive bottom line quality materials that can only allow students to go so far in making a good sound. Last year I was so grateful that our school ordered a few new instruments that allowed for our students to fall in love with playing because of the sound they could produce. This year I would like to make sure that every student has the opportunity to have an instrument, bow and strings that allows them to play to the best of their ability so that they can continue to grow as well trained young musicians.
