My Project

Inspiring Young Musicians with the Joy of Xylophones!

I love how eager and enthusiastic my Pre-K through 5th-grade students are when it comes to making music!

They are creative, curious, and full of energy, always excited to sing, move, and explore new sounds. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and for many, music class is a place where they can express themselves freely and build confidence.

With these three Lyons xylophones, my students will have the opportunity to develop essential musical skills in a hands-on, engaging way. These instruments will help them explore melody, rhythm, and harmony, allowing them to play as an ensemble and build foundational music skills that will stay with them for life. Right now, we have very few melodic percussion instruments, and adding these xylophones will ensure that more students can actively participate in making music.

My goal with this project is to create a classroom where every child has the opportunity to play, create, and experience the joy of music. These xylophones will not only help them develop coordination and listening skills but will also foster teamwork, creativity, and a love for music that extends beyond the classroom. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their musical journey, and I can't wait to see the excitement on their faces when they get to play these beautiful instruments.
