Fidgets and sensory toys can provide an easy way for students to self-regulate through movement. Fidgets offer a safe outlet for students to relieve stress and calm their nerves, creating a more conducive environment for learning.
These fidgets will be used to enhance focus by allowing students to engage in calming movements.
Fidgets can help improve concentration during learning activities. These tools promote comfort and relaxation, enabling students to reset emotionally and mentally.
Fidgets will be available for students to use during breaks from class. This will allow students the opportunity to engage with the tools and return to class feeling calmer and more ready to participate.
By providing this resource, I aim to create a welcoming space where students feel supported. It fosters trust and encourages them to seek help when they are feeling dysregulated, strengthening our relationship. Utilizing fidgets will not only address stress and anxiety but also enhance the overall learning environment.
