Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students area wonderful mixture of diversity. The school is in an urban setting and is majority African American and Latino. Ninety-seven percent of the student population is on free or reduced-price lunch and their test scores fall far below the state average.

I am a new teacher and want to help bring these students all that they deserve!

I am so looking forward to being a difference to these students and you can help me make that happen for them.

My Project

These products will allow me to introduce yoga to my students. By introducing them to this early on in life they will learn the coping skills before bad habits begin to set in. Yoga gives students the ability to take a step back before reacting. It is also a great tool for building focus.

It has been proven that mediation can reduce bullying and aggressive behavior not only in schools but in the communities as well.

By purchasing yoga mats for my students we will be able to start each day with opening our minds. The stress balls and the figit toys will help them to maintain focus and positivity throughout the day.The books I have asked for are to help build their character. By giving you are allowing these students a headstart on a healthy mindset.
