This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been very anxious for our return to school. The pandemic has left them with a lot of emotional scars and this has affected their ability to cope with the every day stress. These resources will help them improve their coping skills and push them to produce academic work. The resources will allow us to implement our social emotional curriculum. Too much emphasis is placed on the testing and academic learning, a very little on emotional intelligence. My students will improve their ability to control their anger, cope with anxiety, and find ways to balance their lives.
