Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Incorporating interests and strengths into Occupational Therapy sessions with students with various abilities will engage them in fine motor activities such as writing and illustrating their written work! Providing supplies and materials in eye-catching bright colors will motivate students to be as creative as they want while working on skills they have difficulty with in the school setting. These colored papers, markers, and journals will be used for the entire writing process from brainstorming ideas to final edits. They will include personal artwork to accompany their writing that is based on individually chosen topics of interest.
