My Project

My classroom is a safe haven and also a place where they can express their emotions freely. I love teaching my art to my 9th through 12th grade because they even encourage me to push my boundaries as an artist. Seeing them create thus far in the school year has been so beautiful to watch and I am honored to even teach them. These supplies will help them explore more about Street art and Photography, these are the 2 subjects that they love the most and have a strong connection too. I choose The spray paint and the large canvass so students would have a better connection to the topic of Graffiti that they’re most intrigued in. I choose a polaroid camera as well so the students can experience film cameras as they would be exploring a dark room as well. I strongly stand on letting my students express themselves and anything that upsets, angers or etc. on a canvas and it’s amazing on what I saw they can do on a smaller scale. But it would be a bigger blessing to see what they could do on a larger canvas.
