My Project

Welcome to the Strategy Implementation Club, DonorsChoose Page! Our Club aims to teach interpersonal skills, strategy-based decision-making, teamwork, and excitement through the use of board games in a world that is now dominated by electronics.

Coming from a Title 1 School, our students have limited access to resources and many don't have the opportunity to own, or play these games.

An example of our games is Mysterium, which requires our students to figure out a mystery based on clues from a "ghost" who cannot talk but can only provide visions. This makes our students have to rely on their inference-making skills and communication with each other to solve the mystery.

Avalon is a social deception game where players are on teams, "Good vs. Evil." Telestrations has students draw and write words that the person to their right must either draw or write based on the previous person's interpretation.

Games like Switch Sports allows our students to work in Teams to simulate sports, which may not be as accessible for our particular demographic.

We hope you fund our club and we know our students will be thrilled to give many of these games a try!
