My Project

My goal is to provide a welcoming learning environment with high-quality lessons and materials for all students, despite not always having the basics they need at school. My students love to learn and be challenged, so I always try to provide new and rigorous classroom activities for them to explore.

Logic puzzles and snacks are a perfect pair in our classroom: students learn best and are able to sharpen their critical thinking skills when their bodies are properly fueled!

With school starting at 7:30 and many lunches ending before 12:00, the 3:00 dismissal time often leaves my students super hungry and sometimes struggling to focus! Snacks are a great way to re-up their brain power and help support success when engaging with logic puzzles and games. The new logic puzzles requested in this project, including difficult puzzle books and Cats & Boxes, will help my students develop planning, strategizing, and critical thinking skills.
