Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In math class, I ask my students to persevere to solve problems. When they are stuck, which happens, they need to collaborate with classmates, putting their brains together to push themselves forward. But students sometimes don't have the framework or the background to do these things.

By providing jigsaw puzzles for my students, they will practice persevering and pushing themselves to solve problems, perhaps with their classmates.

The games will help them hone their own strategic minds, and start to be able to see whole boards and think steps ahead.
