My Project

There are many traditions in my classroom, and one of them is for my scholars to create dioramas using the stories that we have read. My scholars are creative, and they become attached to the different characters and stories such as Banquo in Macbeth or even the story of "The Veldt.”

Dioramas give my students different opportunities to show that they understand the text and it also gives my students the opportunity to show their projects in our district's art showcase.

The trees and miniature scenery will allow my scholars' settings to look more realistic. The cordless glue-guns will allow my scholars to work in their groups without worrying about plugging in the cord at an outlet.

My goals for this project are to elevate my scholars' confidence in being able to create something on their own. I also want my scholars to get a full grasp on the stories that they have read. Finally, I want to create a core memory where they will be proud of their accomplishment and will be excited about school.
