This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love this project to be funded so that I can send home these stories with my students. Many of my students are not fluent readers yet, and I think that they would enjoy being able to listen to these stories at home. Many of my student's parents are illiterate in English and Spanish. I have Spanish books in my library, but for the families that are unable to read at home with their children this could be a wonderful solution. I think that providing this option would help my students to share in the joy of reading with their families at home.
My students love listening to stories and providing this resource would enable my students to share in the wonder of stories with their families!
