Help me give my students the safety of storing their own materials. Students need to be able to store their materials securely so that there is not cross contamination from others so that they can stay safe.
I am a special education teacher in a Title 1 school in the Bronx. I am currently in a first grade ICT class. All of the students qualify for free lunch. The students are significantly below grade level and need a lot of teacher support to make progress. The special education students have a variety of disabilities including Autism, Learning Disabled and Speech and Language Impaired. They are loving children that need high-quality instruction to help them meet their academic and social deficits.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help them feel safe in school. My class has two cohorts and students have to share the same desks with the others when they are home doing remote instruction when they are in the building. I would like to provide each student with a personal storage bin so that they can keep their materials away from their peers to prevent cross-contamination and germs from spreading between students. These bins are perfect for the amount of materials that they will need to store daily. Please help me support my students in providing a safe place for them to store their materials.
