My Students

We have no way of storing our instruments to keep them safe and out of the way in our small, music classroom. Please help my purchase a cabinet to store our instruments to keep them off the floor and in a safer place.

This is my second year teaching music!!

I teach at a Title One school in the city of Richmond. My music classes are taught in a trailer that was previously used for storage. We have a lot of things we do not need that take up space in our classroom. We have large class sizes and currently our instruments sit in boxes on a cart or the floor. We do not have a lot of instruments; however they are used constantly. My lessons require the students to move around a lot. We need a place to store our instruments to keep them out of the way of the students (when not using them), and also safe when we are not there.

My Project

Currently I have no storage for our instruments. This cabinet will be used to store the instruments when they are not being used. It will keep the instruments out of the way providing more space for the students to move around the classroom. The cabinet will also be able to lock keeping the instruments safe when we are not in the classroom.

Storage will help keep the instruments we do have around longer.

Our school is not able to purchase many instruments, and we need to keep what we do have in good condition. This will be able to keep the classroom and students organized.
