This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each and every year desks can be a complete mess! Looking for items takes forever, especially in first grade! Then I found how useful a seatsack can be in my everyday classroom.

By providing each student with a seat sack, we are giving them organization and quick access to materials that will be used regularly throughout the school day.

Our current seat sacks have ripped fallen apart and can no longer be used effectively. Providing new storage will help the new incoming first graders remain organized so that less time is spent looking for items in between lessons and more time is used learning.
