Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will help students learn about different Hispanic trailblazers in the US, and also read in their native language Spanish. I have some students that are newcomers and are learning the English language. I want to make sure they have books available for them to read and be inspired.

Reading these books will inspire and help my students make connections to their heritage.

Students will learn about different stories about immigrants and famous Latino figures that have contributed to the history of the United States. They will also read stories with characters that look like them and speak the same language.
