This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love reading to my students! In fact, it is one of my favorite times of our school day. I read multiple books aloud to my students daily. They ask, "What story are we going to read today" and that makes me excited that they are learning to love books and reading. I love getting new books to read to my students and I hope to have a great selection to choose from. These books help teach so many skills in a fun way!

Studies show that students who are read to daily have a greater opportunity to become successful learners.

This is the reason that I make reading a focus and an important part of our day. I want to instill in them a love for reading and your donation could help do just that!
