My Project

My students are an incredible group of learners, each bringing unique backgrounds, abilities, and perspectives to our school. Some come from economically diverse households, while others have different learning needs or diagnoses that shape their experiences. Despite these differences, they share a curiosity for learning and a desire to feel seen and valued.

This project will provide a diverse selection of books that showcase characters from various economic backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences.

These stories will not only allow students to see themselves in literature but also introduce them to different perspectives, encouraging empathy and understanding. By expanding our classroom library, we can create an inclusive space where all students feel represented and inspired to learn.

Your support will give my students access to a library of books that nurtures a love for reading and helps every child feel valued. Thank you for helping us build a library where every child can find their story!
