Setting up a classroom for the new group is always exciting. The possibilities and potential is clearly amazing. I will be teaching first grade in a low income neighborhood again this upcoming school year.
Seat back bags are so helpful!
It's important to teach children to keep their supplies in order. A well organized desk helps with transitions during the lessons and maintaining the items we do have.
Last year my class simply had Ziploc bags taped to their chairs. It was such a convenient spot. I now know what is helpful to put in there and I look forward to using these more durable, permanent bags.
