Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 21 wonderful and curious students who are learning to read and use technology. Due to the pandemic, this is the first year my students have been in a consistent classroom since 2020. My students have so much potential and are missing some key resources. They work super hard and they are eager and excited to learn. We are a Title I school and all of our students receive free meals throughout the day.

My Project

This project is all about organization! It will help my students organize their materials as we transition to flexible seating. My goal is to have these bins so my students can have brand new tables instead of desks. Additionally, the shoe storage will also be used for headphones! This will create more space in the classroom and allow the environment to be safe.

Students feel safe and supported when their environment is thought of and considered.

These materials will boost my classroom organization and give my students a home for their materials.
