Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are building an entirely new music curriculum that is culturally responsive, accessible to all students, and fun! We need help with storage and organization so that students can independently move around the room and explore music in their own way.

My goal is to create a musical environment that is conducive to student composition, creation, and exploration!

My students are beautifully creative and excited about learning music. They often request music that is specific to them and love to perfect their performances. I have a high number of newcomer students who explore music in Spanish and Ukrainian as well as in English.
