Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year has been transformational for so many reasons. Our students re-learned how to be part of a school community, how to write clearly and cohesively, and more importantly, how to read from books rather than spend too much time on their phones.

While many people complained that young people won't read anymore; I can happily report that with the right books, students will read voraciously.

They love talking about their books with each other and swapping titles to form their own book clubs.

With your help, I can expand our library to help students to keep on reading in and out of the classroom.
