My Project

Students at my school site are reviving a newspaper after 40 years without one. They are smart and passionate and dedicated and we want to make sure they have the materials (backdrops, rods, reporters notebooks, speaker, pens, pocket charts) and environment they need to thrive. The requested materials will give them a strong footing as journalists and will help supply a room that will help them to be as creative and driven as possible.

But, the newsroom can be stressful, too, which is why we are aiming to add some calming and relaxing features (fountain, oil diffuser) to reduce stress and promote mental health.

With deadlines looming and news always breaking, we'll appreciate the sensory relaxation that some of these items will provide.
