Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very active learners who often need flexible seating options to help improve their focus and engagement. Having a different seating option rather than their usual one will help students become more excited about approaching small group instruction.

I am requesting materials to help my students have flexible options to sit in throughout the day.

Flexible seating stimulates students’ sense of touch and allows them to move more freely while focusing on the task at hand.

Flexible seating helps students stay focused, provides more movement, and curtails behavior problems in the classroom. These flexible seating options will help add to my goal of having a welcoming learning environment for my students.
