Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students come from diverse cultural backgrounds and many are English Language Learners. Our amazing school is located within an Indian Reservation. Due to the high percentage of students below the poverty line, all my students receive free lunch.
Despite the many obstacles my students face, they come to class every day eager to learn.
My students are brave, curious, encouraging and inspire me each and every day. It is an honor to be able to watch them become lifelong learners. I am so lucky and thankful to be their teacher.
My Project
Our class is currently full of bulky, outdated chairs that are constantly breaking. With your help, I am looking to provide my students with new seating options. I know my students would be so excited to have new stools. The stools would be beneficial to my students by helping with both their core strength and attention span.
These stools will help boost my students' ability to focus and be ready to learn.
Removing our old chairs with these new stools will clear up walking space for students to move around freely when collaborating. I am looking forward to all the benefits these stools will bring!
