Help me give my students stools to sit on when they come to the rug.

My Students
Our school serves a community of students of the inner city of Nashua, NH. Our school is located in the heart of a community that sees a great deal of struggle with poverty, homelessness, and addiction. We are currently in the process of being designated a Trauma-Responsive school. This means that our school is taking steps to recognize and support our student's learning and behavior which may be impacted as a result of trauma.
Every student has their own story and their unique needs.
As a collective body, they show what resiliency and hope look like in this generation of learners.
My Project
My teaching style includes bringing students to the front of the room to be close board and focus them on the lesson. My students are at an age that they don't want to sit on the rug because it is uncomfortable and it is not always dry and clean. One of the biggest challenges is that students don't maintain a comfortable personal space for everyone.
These stools are great because they can be stacked in the corner when they are not needed and easily brought out to provide additional flexible seating.
Cleanliness is also an important factor in bringing anything into the classroom. These can easily be wiped down to clean up any messes and keep students safe from germs.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
