My Project

Students in not just my classroom but our building suffer from poverty. In Highschool it is more embarrassing, so they don't always just tell you.

I have become the room of snacks.

Every child knows I will feed them if they need it. Sometimes the only food they eat is at school. They save lunch items to take home to sibling or parents.

It is a proven fact Students learn better when not hungry. They can focus more. I provide a closest of snacks and small meals as well a cooking at school to help stomp out hunger.
