Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"When you put a lot of hard work into one goal and you achieve it, that's a really good feeling." - Derek Jeter Our students will create videos of their accomplishments with the Stock Market Game and Robotics Program. The speaker will fill the classroom with top quality wireless sound.

We are a fourth grade class of a school in the South Bronx.

Our school is a Title I school located in a high needs area. Our class is comprised of general education students as well as students with Individual Education Plans. Our students are inquisitive and energetic. They are curious about the world around them and are always eager to learn new things.

My Project

The two Lego books will come with instructions on building and programming different EV3 robots. The wireless speaker will be used to watch financial news and listen to podcasts. It will also be used to enhance the audio on a notebook or tablet. The speaker will play an important role in our students' multi-media projects.

This project will help out in many different ways.

Before they begin the projects, the students will choose a topic, research the information, and then create the movie. These multi-media projects will include movies, presentations, and step by step guides. They will be working in groups and build upon each other's ideas. Teamwork will be a major part of their projects because every team member has a voice and decisions are made together. This experience will extend beyond the classroom.
