Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students I service live in the Bronx. Currently, I will be working with third grade students. The population of the children in my class are English language learners, students will disabilities and general education students.

This academic year my goal is to create a supportive learning environment as we return to in-person learning.

My Project

The card stock that I am asking for will be used to create art and craft activities that I can using during my morning social emotional lessons. The purpose of the activities is to support the transition from remote learning to in-person learning. The activities will be a method I will use to create an inclusive learning environment that establishes a positive classroom community. Lastly, the material will also be used to create center activities that are fun and engaging with the purpose of remediating learning gaps in literacy and mathematics.
