My Students

I work with a unique group of dedicated, caring and energetic students. My school is committed to providing our students with the best educational opportunities. Remote learning has been hard on both the students and the teachers. It would be amazing if I could help give my students an edge by bringing the best possibly digital lessons on science topics to them.

My students need of a teacher who can access the most innovative apps and programs to bring the most to their remote education with a working computer.

I teach 7th grade in Bayside, NY. Many of my students are new to this country and speak a variety of different languages. Each student brings his or her own diverse background and experiences to the classroom. But the one thing they all have in common is their passion to learn. I try to utilize many different styles to address the diverse needs of my inquisitive learners.

My Project

Science is a very lab oriented subject. It comes along with lots equipment of various sizes. Having space for all of this equipment has always been a problem. But now needing mor equipment becasue students can't share equipment anymore has really made storage space tight.

Storage containers will allow my students to easily get to the lab equipment when needed.

Right now, equipment is randomly stacked in various corners, not labelled or separated by lab or topic. This makes it very difficult to access the equipment when needed. This has caused us to not do some experiments just because its to hard to get to the equipment. Extra storage boxes will help to solve this problem.
