My Project

As a vocal music teacher at a public charter school in Washington, DC, I have the privilege of working with an incredibly talented group of young performers. They are dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about their craft. However, one challenge we face is ensuring that every student has the required performance attire.

For our upcoming concerts and musical productions, all students must wear black pants as part of their performance uniform.

Some of our students’ families are unable to purchase these items, and we never want financial barriers to prevent a child from fully participating. Your generous donation will help provide black performance pants in a variety of sizes so that every student can take the stage feeling confident, prepared, and unified.

Your support will directly impact our students by ensuring equal access to performance attire, creating a polished and professional look for our ensembles, and allowing students to focus on their artistry rather than financial concerns.
