My Project

The sensory table will be set up inside and used during free choice center play and morning fine motor time. The fillers will be changed out periodically to fit with our themes and the students needs. We will start with the basic items such as kinetic sand, feathers, and pompoms. We also need the hand held tools to help increase the muscles in the hands of our youngest learners.

Hands-on exploration and play is so vital to the learning experience of Pre-K students.

Adding this to our classroom will help give them a fun choice to help strengthen their fine motor skills, and increase their knowledge of various academic areas through play.
