I love each of my students. We have a very diverse population, with various accommodations necessary to help each student reach their fullest potential. All of the students will benefit from the hands-on science models. Hopefully, this will spark their creativity and amplify clear understanding to maximize their learning experience.
According to the US Department of Commerce, STEM occupations are growing at 24% and STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and creates the next generation of innovators.
The importance of STEM education is becoming more and more apparent in today's ever-changing world. I want to be able to make science and math more engaging and put more STEM opportunities in my student's hands daily whether it is being taught whole group or in a station.
STEM is so important because it is present everywhere in our daily lives.
My project will help my students make this connection through hands-on learning and their understanding of why, for example, matter and motion are so important.
