This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Sensory activities can significantly enhance students learning by addressing diverse learning needs and improving overall engagement. They can make a difference by improving focus and attention, enhancing cognitive development, supporting diverse learning styles, emotional and social development, and increasing engagement and motivation. Incorporating sensory activities into the classroom provides a more dynamic and supporting learning environment that addresses the varied needs of students by helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

My goals for this project are to create an inclusive environment to accommodate all students, increase students' interest and participation in learning, help students develop self-awareness and learn self-regulation strategies, encourage innovative thinking and creative expression, enhance physical development and coordination, foster positive social skills and teamwork, create a calm and supportive learning environment.

My students are special because they are diverse. They come from different cultural backgrounds and have their own style of learning. They bring unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom.
