Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my school, many of my students thrive with sensory tools that help them stay focused, calm, and engaged in their learning. The items I am requesting, including fidget toys and tactile sensory materials, that will provide the support they need to regulate their emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve their concentration. With these tools, my students will have the opportunity to engage more fully in lessons, boost their self-regulation skills, and feel more confident in their learning environment.

My goal for this project is to create an inclusive, supportive classroom where all students, including those with sensory processing needs, can excel.

These items will help them feel more in control and ready to learn.

What makes my students special is their unique learning styles and their resilience. Each day, they bring creativity, curiosity, and a desire to learn—despite the challenges they may face. With these sensory tools, they will have the resources to unlock their full potential.
