Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Too often, schools are told to adopt STEM, but what does it really mean and what does it really take to do it well? This project will allow grade 3 to complete a unit on recycling. Students will be working together to develop a solution for a problem we found existed at our school - our recycling program is ineffective! We found that community members aren't using the bins as they should be, and some spaces don't even have the correct bins. In our study, we will propose a solution to this problem.

These supplies like glue sticks, stickers and more will empower our students to show their learning and spread the message to take care of our school and the community at large.
