This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, I love to motivate my students to work hard to become "star" students. Stickers are a very popular incentive tool in my class!

When students volunteer to work out a problem on the board, excel on their assignments, or are being an effective collaborator with their peers, I give out stickers.

This has been an effective tool to increase model behavior and work habits in my classes. Instead of purchasing pre-made stickers, I would like to invite me to students to create their own stickers or make stickers that are reflective to who they are. My students have also expressed interest in math-specific stickers that are difficult to find pre-made. Most of my students have created a "sticker collection" on their math class notebook. Help us finish the school year strong by donating to this project and increasing the motivation in my classes.
