My Students

My students are truly the best. They are the most enthusiastic and hard-working students, always ready for a challenge. All of my students come from families with parents who do not speak English and are of low socio-economic status. Students understand the importance of good work ethics and thrive to succeed in life as they want to make their parents proud, as they have sacrificed much for their children's education.

A picture is worth a thousand words and then some more.

The families of my students work extremely hard and long hours just to make ends meet. They often to get to witness the wonderful work by their loved ones. I believe it is of the utmost importance for us to catch these moments and share it with their parents. I want them the students to feel proud of their accomplishments and show them off as they should.

All of these wonderful students have so much drive and passion to succeed. I want them to remember and cherish their achievements. I really hope that donors like you can make it happen for them. It will mean a lot to​ me and my students. Thanks!

My Project

Incentives such as stickers of their favorite characters or something cute go a long way. Students of all ages gets extremely excited about get a sticker as it shows them that they are being recognized. Being recognized for listening, helping one another, helping out a classmate, working independently, etc.. can truly make them feel accomplished and builds confidence.

Confidence is key to success as students will continue to show what they are capable of.

It is important for us teachers to build confidence as it will help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. All of these are key for success.
