My Project

I am an elementary school librarian at a low-income school in Northern California. At WA, we have students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Our school is home to diverse students who have faced and overcome many difficult things in the past few years. Despite this, they come to school eager to learn and grow!

Our little readers come to the library once a week and compete in a sticker challenge!

Classes who visit can earn a trip to the sticker shop by being respectful, responsible, and quiet during their library time. Our sticker shop was made possible last year thanks to donors from Donors Choose! It has been a hit ever since, and now it is time to restock! I have selected all types of fun stickers! From Disney Princesses to dinosaurs- we will have something for everybody!
