My Students

"Teachers need to integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum instead of viewing it as an add-on, an afterthought, or an event." Heidi Hayes-Jacobs. As a teacher I want to provide my students with as many resources and opportunities as possible to develop them into lifelong learners.

When I think about my students I see eager learners who want to grow and explore the world around them.

They want to grow as learners and are also interested in the new advances technology has made in the classroom. When technology is involved my students are engaged on an entirely new level and want to be active participants in the lesson. They have been exposed to this technology at home but it has been lacking in the classroom and needs to become a part of the curriculum.

My Project

Chevron's Fuel Your School program is such an amazing program and I am so excited to partner with them! Through this partnership, I will be able to provide my students with many new ways to explore and grow in STEM education. As I prepare students for technological jobs that don't exist yet, it is important to provide them with many opportunities to become engaged and active learners in the classroom and in the world of technology. My students will value these iPads and the opportunities to grow as learners because of them!

This project is extremely important because education is changing as the technological world is changing.

It is my duty to provide my students with resources that take their learning to a place where they are able to evaluate and create. These iPads will provide me with the resources to give them the education they deserve!
