Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Speed, agility, technique and strength, all of these things are critical in winning football games.

Our football players are young and new to the sport, but they are ready to win games!

They are a small group in terms of numbers, but they are high quality athletes. Our team won the district championship last year and we are looking to repeat that during this upcoming season.

My Project

The gorilla step over bags will help our team with their speed, agility and overall technique. The step over bags can be used for many different drills including both offense and defense. We do a drill called "inside drill" where these bags will be used to define the space and remind the players where they can and can not go. We will also use them for agility training and plyometrics. These things will help the players to be quicker and stronger on the field, which will result in more games won as well.

The completion of this project will help our team become more competitive and help give them the edge over other teams.

It will help our students to feel proud of their team and what they are trying to accomplish by winning another title!
