My Project

This will be my third year at MLCPA, and with the school district take-over, there will be quite a bit of shake-ups in the organization of our campus, so to eliminate any of the unnecessary stress with preparing to give my new 6th Grade scientists with materials that will enhance their experiences, such as the color copy paper for foldables and memorable reference sheets to be housed inside of their Science Binders, the materials to create these scientific artifacts, the colored pencils and markers would be a lifesaver as many of the students never have these items. Also, the purchasing of the electric pencil sharpeners will replace the ones the students destroyed last school year.

Many of the young men are entering this space from underprivileged homes, which means they either have not been afforded classrooms with atmospheres conducive to true STEM learning, or they have missed out on opportunities to participate because they never knew how fun it could be when their instructor didn't have to worry about such things.
