Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students consist of every age group, as well as grade and academic levels. What makes them special, is their enthusiasm when it comes to working on STEM projects like "real-life" engineers.

I've always believed that stories help students imagine a world where they are the artists, creators and innovators they aspire to be.

The books I am requesting will help introduce the STEM projects they will work on as "engineers". At the same time, they will be developing skills that encompass not only "problem-solving and critical thinking", and the use of their imagination, but as they listen to or read the stories themselves, they will be able to practice and develop essential reading skills needed as they move from one grade level to another.
