Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Our school is one big family. We welcome every student and invite them to belong to our community. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and family situations. As a classroom we embrace each others strengths and weakness and learn and grow from each other. They are caring and empathetic and eager to help each other reach their full potential.
I have a classroom of 24 amazing, talented, creative individuals!
"Life is a succession of lessons, which must be lived to be understood." Each day in our classroom is a fresh new day. Students are expected to try something new, push a bit harder, reach a little bit higher, challenge themselves a bit more and try to improve upon what they did the day before.
My Project
Using snap circuits in my weekly Friday Free Choice hour, will enhance my students science learning through playful creativity.
We know that much of a child's best learning comes through play.
These snap circuit boards peek curiosity while offering a safe zone to be creative and solidify scientific concepts of electricity, while encouraging budding inventors, engineers and mechanics.
Snap circuits will afford my students an opportunity to take charge of their own learning. They will be able to experiment, inquire and be in control of their projects. In addition, reading directions and following directions, as well as creating directions for others to follow, can all be incorporated into this integrated learning process.
