My Students

My students are amazing! They are excited to learn and work hard to excel beyond the limitations of their neighborhood.

They love to learn, create and play and are inspiring to all who work with them!

My second graders all come from low-income areas and often do not have the necessary resources at home to extend the school day beyond our classroom. They are hard workers and do everything they can to be successful! My second graders are absolutely fabulous kids!

My Project

Our school district is working hard to provide our students with opportunities to learn and grow beyond the traditional textbook. Second Grade Science subscriptions will help to extend what we are already doing to make our students into scientists!

Studies Weekly Second Grade Science will bring science to life through virtual field trips, primary source interviews, experiments and hands-on materials!

These Studies Weekly Science magazines and the accompanying online STEM components will give my students access to science and technology tools that will allow them to see the world around them.

Can you imagine watching a volcano erupt? Listening to a first-hand account of an archaeological dig? With your help, my students will not have to imagine, they will live it!
