My Project

Creating creative, engaged, and critical thinkers is an important task for teachers. Building a STEM center for my classroom has been a goal for years. Being able to provide tools and equipment that allows students create without boundaries is exhilarating and fun.

The outcomes are better creativity, higher level thinking skills, and a desire to plan, create, and solve problems.

These items will be used every morning. Students will be able to choose which tools to use as they enter the classroom. They will be available for the first 15-30 minutes of class to help stimulate and wake up the brain before we start class. They will also be available during indoor recess time and for students who complete work early. These items will create a positive, engaging, and enriching environment for my students!
