My Project

My 7th graders love STEM. It is the class that allows them to explore, think differently, and inject their perspective into their learning experience. These materials are going to allow my students to continue doing the projects that will turn them into future engineers.

My students need foam boards, duct tape, bottle caps, spoons, popsicle sticks, clay, and cleaning supplies to be successful in creating water bottle rockets, catapults, and Mars habitat stations in STEM class.

Since New York City has cut budgets for its public schools, it has been very difficult to get the supplies we need to create engaging and meaningful activities for our students. This project will be a blessing over the next year to make sure the students in my class are able to participate in those experiences that will help them develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while collaborating with peers.
