Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a high-poverty area where most students do not attend preschool. My classroom is often their first educational experience and I love to make it engaging and fun so they are always eager to come to school.

STEM activities in the classroom build important skills and foster interest in STEM fields for the future!

Providing young students with experiences in this area has been show to benefit their future educational endeavors in these areas.

I am requesting gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers so I may purchase essential resources that are designed to help students navigate learning to explore their interests in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We will use these resources regularly throughout the year and in future school years!
